Indian Working poor

Boy sweeping terrace with full moon on blue sky in background. Every day hundreds of millions of people in India wake up at dawn and work hard until sunset to find their way out of poverty. Many of these people cannot access clean water and electricity, nor pay school fees for their children or see a doctor when they are sick. Their basic needs have been largely unmet, neither by public services nor by the market that doesn't consider them as potential customers. Access to health care services in India by low-income people is limited due to the poor supply from the public service, especially in remote areas such as slums.
